“Patients Above All” – this is the common feedback from my family, peers, patients and colleagues about me. True enough and wait till you hear my story; I was in Russia for a tour, but my trip was cut short and I flew back to Singapore to attend to my patient who was about to enter labour. 😂 This is how passionate I am about my work and how much I believe in providing dedicated care to my patients.
But family is important to me, too. They motivate me to do what I do best, supported me when I was at my life’s lowest point and made me become who I am today.
In my pastime, I have picked up many personal interests and hobbies. This is how you can get to know me better as well.
Do look out for my story and what I would like to share with you in my blog. Thanks for popping by!
My #1 job is being a husband and papa to three lovely girls. They are the most important people in my life and my daughters are my motivation to choose to become a maternal fetal medicine O&G specialist (and I assure you, it is dramatic!).
That’s why, no matter how busy I am at work, I will always set aside time for my wife and daughters. Bringing them out for meals, going on dates with my wife and travelling with them to different countries are what I best enjoy.
There are many stories that I would like to share with you in my blog about my family.
My background included 12 years’ service in a restructured hospital, with five years in the Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine. In April 2021, I joined O & G Partners Fertility Centre, a member of Sincere Healthcare Group, located in Gleneagles Hospital.
My clinical interest is in the field of prenatal diagnosis and maternal fetal medicine. Inspired by the belief that mothers deserve better prenatal care, I aspire to provide quality care to all mothers.
A firm believer in research and the power of education, I am actively involved in medical research and the education of aspiring doctors. Besides teaching in all three medical schools in Singapore, I am a Physician Faculty Member of the SingHealth Residency Program.
Did you know that I started off my career as a civil engineer? In my upcoming blog posts, I will share more with you. Do keep a look out for them!
Interests & Hobbies
I have many hobbies! Home gardening, travelling and swimming are some of them. During my spare time, you will find me in the kitchen creating that drool-worthy steak and roast pork.
Did you know I am a foodie as well?
